HOUSE GROUPS
What is a House Group?
A House Group is a group of about 25 people that meet weekly in the home of someone from the Revision community. They include time to hang out and connect with a larger group, a short teaching time, and then time in small groups to discuss life and faith. House Groups exist to help you dig deeper into God’s truth and how it applies to your lives, and they ensure that every member of Revision Church can know and be known as we do life together, encourage each other, and grow in faith as a community.

Why House Groups?
God designed us to do life and faith in community, and he wants us to grow in our understanding of who he is and who he created us to be. House Groups provide us with the opportunity to connect with people, make great Christian friends, and grow in our relationships with God.
In the midst of a culture where we are increasingly isolated, House Groups are a unique and exciting way to connect. They are specifically designed to provide a welcoming environment that anyone, no matter where they are along their faith journey, can be a part of. It can be intimidating to sign up for a normal church “small group” where you are placed with a small number of people you might not even know. So, we decided to do things differently. Since House Groups have so many more people, they provide everyone with the chance to be a part of a group without standing out. They also provide an awesome opportunity to genuinely connect with smaller groups of people.
We are aware that it is difficult to know and be known, especially in the environment of a fast-growing church like Revision. But we’re convinced that life is better and our faith has the opportunity to grow deeper when we do it together. So we love House Groups because they provide us with a few relational layers. We get to be part of an exciting, growing larger community: Revision Church, a smaller network of 20-30 people who we can know well, grow with, and be cared for by: House Groups, and a small group of people that we can really dig deep with: our Small Group within the House Group.
